What should i do now?

I invited a Guy to the movies via text and he said yes. I've rejected him twice before but only because I was busy im very much into him And would have went if I could. It turns out though I have all these things coming up and I can't get out of it so I called him And explained everything he was very understanding And chill. He flirts around with me but he's also known to be a flirt. So im wondering What should I do now about us? Where do we stand? And does it even bother him I did what I did or is he on to the next one?
