I strongly suspect that one of my friends likes me. What do I do?
Lots to read, but you put me in good perspective. Relationships surely do require a lot of maintenance, it is similar to a job (in my experience) but it also has its high advantages. Anyhow, there are a few things you could do... 1. Very simple, act like your unaware/go with the flow, UNTIL she actually comes out and tells you how she feels about you..your not leading her on unless you put a label on your relations w/ her. 2. If you feel shes understanding enough to talk to about personal matters, tell her how you feel, (no need to go on "too much" about your ex, --if you do decide to change your mind, she may think your insecure over your past, which can be a turn off because it isn't her fault)..--Now keep in mind, You COULD be reading too much into her actions, some women just enjoy flirting with certain men--she may just be comfortable with YOU..You could even ask her randomly -how she feels about being single ?, -or how she feels about relationships ?... her answer could give you a clue, More than likely.. if she says anything like she isn't enjoying the single life--she could be making subliminal moves on youuu.. Overall, I think you should relax and let things flow... and understand there are MANNNY things you can do in relationships that are inexpensive --even Free!... going to the park/beach, sitting in and playing board games/cards--if your into that kind of thing..watching movies online (movshare.net) ? Many other things that would be more exciting than these, you'd have to look it up in your area (google).. Or, if your absolutely sure you prefer living the single life--Don't feel pressured to be so specific w/ your words and whatnot--Just be HONEST & clear w/ how you feel. Women respect honest, straight forward men. Never know, she might just want you more if you tell her your not looking for a relationship, some women also love the chase. --Sorry I can't give you one single straightforward response, you need to talk to her.
