Question about trespassing charges in NYC?

First off I want to mention I'm not from New York, I'm a 20 year old Floridian working here for an internship. Last night we met some kids who said they would show my friend and I around a little and we ended up on a rooftop. I assumed they knew someone in the building but I guess they didn't and the cops were called. It was insane 10 of them came up there and we were all cuffed and taken down to the station and got a court date in criminal court. I have nothing on my record except a stupid shop lifting charge that I got cleared doing a program for it. I'm curious if there is a punishment/fine that I will be receiving, I do not know how the system works here so if anyone could tell me what to expect that would be really appreciated.
