Don't know the name of a song?

I only know the music video. It has a white singer playing a piano in a white room, and a black singer rapping on a rooftop. Throughout the video there is a black child listening to music and what it seems to be, writing lyrics. He gets bullied at one point (another kid comes over and smacks his book down in the park), and at the end he is on the roof dancing.
